Anja Bereiter, dual nationality Russia/Switzerland.
Anja began playing the piano at the age of 4 and the violin at the age of 8. When she was 12 years old she played her first solo performance with a Chamber Orchestra. In 1995, Anja completed music school with distinction before studying at the Kaliningrad College of Music, where she performed as Soloist and Concert Mistress of the chamber and symphony orchestras and also played with the Kaliningrad Philharmonic Orchestra. Anja has won prizes in various competitions as a pianist & as a violinist and had performed on both Russian radio and television. From 2000 to 2003, Anja studied under Professor Mikhail Tsinman
, HonouredRussian musician, Professor at the Moscow Tchaikowsky Conservatoty, member of the famous Moscow Rachmaninov Trio and Soloist of the renowned Bolshoi Theatre of Moscow. During her studies, Anja performed with Tsinman in several concerts in Moscow.  She was the soloist in several concerts organised by the Foundation Tschernomyrdin (founded by the eponymous Russian Prime Minister), the Fund Constitution and the Swiss Club of Russia. From 2004 to July 2006, Anja studied under Professor Ulrich Gröner at the Swiss University of Music and Theatre in Zurich, completing her studies with distinction.  Anja was awarded a Scholarship for Talented Musicians in 2006 from the Feldkirch Conservatorium in Austria, studying under Professor David Fruehwirth and graduating with the Concert Diploma in 2008. Anja currently plays up to 50 concerts a year in prestigious venues such as the Vienna Music Hall, the Mirror Hall in Bratislava, as well as venues in Budapest, Atlanta, Shanghai and Moscow.


1995-1999 Music - College, Kaliningrad by Prof. A.A. Andreev, Honored Artist of Russia. Diploma examinations with distinction. Qualifications: Orchestra player, teacher for violin. Supported by a state scholarship. Concertmaster & soloist of the Chamber and Symphony Orchestra. (violin and piano) 


2000-2003 violin lessons from the soloist of the Bolshoi Theatre and the Rachmaninov Trio - Tsinman Mikhail, professor at the Moscow State Conservatory named after P. I. Tchaikovsky. Honored Artist of Russia, Moscow 


2002-2003 University Music named after A.G. Schnitke Moscow by Prof. D.A. Kalashkova, I Violin of the Bolshoi Theatre, Moscow 


2004-2006 Zürich University of Music and Drama (new name: Zurich University of the Arts), violin with Prof. Ulrich Gröner. Teaching diploma. Music pedagogical examination with distinction. Graduation in 2 years, instead of 3. Main focus: Piano (with Daniela Timokhine), orchestra conducting (with Prof. Mark Kissoczy), baroque violin (with Monika Bear). Supported by Maggini Foundation. (violin and piano) 


2006-2007 The Swiss Kodály Music School GmbH (SKM) for elementary music education, Zurich. Early musical education and primary school.  Graduation in 1 year, instead of 3 years


2006-2008 Vorarlberger Conservatory  Feldkirch (Austria) by Prof. Editha Fetz and Prof. David Fruehwirth: Supported by a scholarship for gifted students. Graduation in 2 years, instead of 3 years
